NEW ALBUM RELEASED
Well, look what just fell out of Santa’s sack - a new album from your favourite electronic ensemble, Easter Islanders!
What have we got this time? Another ten slices of sonic goodness starting with the groovy but brooding ‘C-Loop 37 FBR x’ which features real bass and a weird title referring to the COVID brain fog I had when composing it.
Elsewhere, we have the two previously released singles ‘Approaching Zero’ (grand majestic piano and soaring epic melodies) and ‘Masters of the Empirical’ (fast pulsing electronica).
Then there’s a guitar-based epic (‘Days of Second Guessing’), an ambient chillout track (‘Silent Sister’) and a cinematic tour de force, ‘Under a Toumaline Sky.’ Go on, look up the word ‘tourmaline’ in a dictionary, you ignorant ape, I dare you.
The remaining tracks are various shades of glitchy hard techno.
You can hear the opener below for nuffink, or listen on yer fave streaming merchants. Or, for the cheap bastards among you, you can listen to the whole thing for free here.
