NEW SINGLE RELEASED

Yep, another helping of musical therapy. It’s a sneak preview of the forthcoming album ‘Lemaitre Solutions’ which should be out at the of the year.

This track is an upbeat jaunty shuffle with real electric piano, jazz drums and a guitar solo…so not very techno at all, but it’s a melodic treat that you won’t want to miss out on.

What’s the story behind the oddball title ‘Chernigov Variant Blues’, I hear you ask. Whaddya mean, ‘oddball?’

When I was in my chess obsession phase (now over), it started to permeate into everything, including my music. I thought it would be cool and obscure and deep to name a track after a chess opening, only later to discover there isn’t actually a ‘Chernigov Variant’ of any opening - I’d misremembered it. But who cares? Also, I tacked on the word ‘blues’ because the song isn’t a blues - haha! That’ll show ‘em!
